Imagine a football stadium full of people. 60,000 shoulder to shoulder, but it’s pitch black and everyone stands in silence. In the center of the stadium, a match flickers and lights a candle in the hand of a woman standing on the fifty-yard line. In the darkness, that one candle can be seen by everyone, even those furthest from it. Then the woman shares her flame and lights the candles in the hands of the people standing next to her. One by one, her neighbors do the same and before long, all 60,000 are holding a lit candle. Visualize how bright the stadium would be; you could see it from space. All the while, the candle that started it all would be burning as brightly as the rest.
This is how money works; the more you share it the greater its impact, and the more you will ultimately have. If you misuse it, you will get burned. But if you nurture your wealth, deploy it properly, and invest in yourself and others, your wealth and influence will grow to be a beacon for those in the darkness.
